Home Sweet Home!

I had a terrific time in the USA, 6 weeks away, first 3 weeks in Sedona Arizona, then 3 weeks in Rochester.
I am so pleased to have had the opportunity to teach again in the USA after all the hassles I have had in the past.

Erin's studio is any lampworkers dream, very well organised, airconditioned and ventilated, which was very welcome with the soring temperatures outside. We had a great time and I even had the chance to play in the hotshop with the glassblowing boys! We made a paperweight with my implosion design on the inside.
I have to admit I am very glad to be a lampworker, I admire the high temperatures the boys can take, but I was glad to be back behind my torch ;)

 The collaboration piece!

The melting point team!

Studio34 had a very nice article about me in their local newpaper!

Thank YOU ALL for the fabulous time and for making this trip a success!

Some images for you from the trip,

Melting Point Studio!

 Oh boy I was HOT!!!

Canyon lands near Moab! WOWWWW it took my breath away!!!!

The Grand canyoun North rim, absolutely spectacular!

A day out at Corning, what a treat and it seems I may be teaching there next August, stay tuned for that!

I knew when I woke up this morning and the world felt "right."
Ahhhhh, back to my favorite blog and my favorite glass bead maker.
I'm glad you had a good time in the USA and saw so many beautiful sights.

Hi Beatrice and Ellen, thank you, I am glad to be back, although time at the torch is juggled between so much catching up stuff to do, like filling the pantry and fridge, washing clothes and a much needed haircut LOL 😊

Yes, I am looking forward to seeing you again too, and am curious about your life in Argentina 😊
