A Marble bead...

I am a bit stuck on these designs, I feel I should make other beads but I keep coming back to these.

I think soon I will need to change my blog title to a less specific gengre and just be an "Artist" as I am not strictly sticking to only glass art anymore. I have dedicated 17 years to my glass art and don't intend to stop, but I want to do some other things that fullfil me as an artist.
I made this eco printed bag for my daughter... and now I am ready to make some bags to hopefully sell :)

I am happy that I can source my leather locally, usually I have to find my things overseas, this makes a nice change :)

Eco printed leather crossbody bag.
So much fun to do the flower imprinting
and then see it become a lovely organic
It has always been my dream to make
bags, and in a small way I am managing
to do this now.

Another eco printing day... no I have not given up making beads, but as I can't go and teach I have more time to spend on learning some new crafts.
It is so exciting to see the prints from nature transfered onto leather. And I have a love for nice handbags and purses, so I can live out both these passions :)

Here is a piece a did today, and one of these days it will be part of a unique handbag :)

Something else that has occupied my mind lately..

It's called eco printing, a method of printing natural leaves and flowers onto fabric or leather.
I saw this online and fell in love with it, so I decided to get the tutorials and did a lot of experimenting before daring to put the print on leather.

This is a beautiful Goatskin leather, so soft in the hand! The eco print is done Sheepskin equally soft and luxurious.

Leather is of course an ideal material for purses, handbags and other small items.

I hope to sell some in the future, so keep an eye out for them here on my blogsite.
