Hollow Lentil!

Inspired by the beautiful glass vases with transparent murrini I have tried to make something adapted to a much smaller surface This is a murrini window hollow 37mm lentil shaped bead!!! I think this is my most ambitious bead yet. It is just a test bead and as far as the colors are concerened a royal pain to photograph, and the red is acually dark red!
The windows are a clear glass so you can look into the bead.

Succulent Red

Well, January is almost over, I bet most of you are happy about that too?
I still seem to battle to get back into a routine,  and today I will be spending time with a friend.
I found this really amazing place to go and have some lunch.... it is still a bit overcast this morning so I hope it gets sunny later :)

Back at the torch...

I love to give my beads lots of layers and by that create a depth in the bead.
Sometimes it is just so difficult to photograph this! This bead is one of them again, it frustrates me that what I see and what the camera sees are just not the same!

The colors shift and sparkle when you move the bead in your hands.
