Camel foot tree!
I admire this bush every morning the last few week from my patio and decided to take a photo to show it to you, the sun was just getting up this morning, so the light is low. This is the flower from the Camel foot tree, they flower profusely in late Winter and Spring, I have no idea where they get the ability from, I don't give it any water throughout the Winter and somehow they manage to find the strength to go in to full bloom before a drop of rain has fallen, isn't that incredible! The reason for the name Camel foot is due to the shape of the leaves, but for me they should have been named the Orchid tree, on top of it all they have a wonderful scent, plus there is also a gorgeous pink variety too!
I love having birds in the garden, but don't like it so much when I see the Grey Louries, and the mouse birds eat the petals, fortunately the tree is kind and made a lot more flowers ( for me) haha..

8 DAYS, 4 TEACHERS, where you ask.......Venice, Italy on the Island of Murano!!
Barb Kralj from the USA has organised a trip to Murano for 11 beadmakers, unfortunately 2 people had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances, which has opened up a place for 2 new people to join us in Venice, Italy on the island of Murano!!
This is an experience that will be unforgetable, ( some of the ladies are doing this for a second time! )
This is an opportunity to join a group of bead makers from all over the world who will get together for 8 days of workshops!! You will get to spend 2 days with each teacher, for a jam packed agenda!
The teachers are..........drum roll here ;)
21-22 October Corina tettinger from USA
23-24 " Melanie Moertel " Germany
25-26 " Astrid Riedel " South Africa
27-28 " Cristina sfriso " Italy
If you arrive a week ahead of time you will be joining the other girls on outings, Italian food and wine....chatting the nights away about all that makes our hearts sing :)
You all know that you might bump into one or the other famous glass master, or perhaps even get to visit their studios, but that I leave up to Barb Kralj to tell you...
I am so excited !!
