I can't wait to get my beads out of the kiln later this evening, I think it should be some exciting stuff...
My daughter has started making polymer clay beads, so much quicker to get the results, only needs baking at 110 degrees C for half an hour!

Hollow Pleated bead!

Taking the pleats a step further...

Don't you just love the enamels, it feels like painting,  but unlike painting the colours don't blend they stay perfectly the way they are, so each colour is placed next to the other, but together the create a song of happiness :))

3D squares!

When I first started experimenting with the hollow bead technique I made 1 or 2 of these, I have had such fun this week with all the 3D effects again, and if you want to have a go at them, I do have a tutorial on this technique.

You can imagine the play of shadows this technique creates, the light box tends to take away some of that effect.
