Zentangle beads

Who says one can't do this on a bead ;)

I had the honour of choosing a  challenge on LE, and I chose the zentangle, I think they are such fun to do and the best practise for tringer control! This is my second bead and certainly not perfect, but I will PPP some more :)

The challenge closes on Sunday come make a bead today and enter it it is just for fun!

It has been exciting to do something different and to challenge myself!

                                        I made a really arty bead well I think so at least ;)

I declare to day is a NO cleaning day, put your feet up ladies, or better go and make beads ALL day, and if any one complains send them to me LOL

I am having a bit more fun with gold fuming, I want to explore the possibilities a bit more, I did  stumble upon some thing nice yesterday and want to come up with  nice design for it before I show you, I might just do that today :)

Some days the weather is just perfect, today is one of those!
I actually had to spend some time cleaning the house this morning, I could hardly look out the windows anymore ;) My pet hate house hold chores are cleaning windows, Ironing, washing floors. What are yours?

Workshops AUSTRIA!

I am so looking forward to my first time to teach in AUSTRIA in June

Cornelia has let me know that she can still fill some places on the 25th and 26th of June

We have limmited places left so hurry !

On the 25th we wil be making beads with pleats, we will learn to apply enamels and dichroic glass on the beads. We will also make the much sought after "pink"murrini I have been making lately :)

One of the most fun techniques we will be doing is the making of the WIG WAG and how to apply them to the beads

These are some of the techniques we will cover on the 26th... Gold fuming with different types of Ribbed or "pleated" textures. We will also make a layered  lentilshaped bead with lots of depth. Thats not all... I will also show you how to apply rose murrini to the bead, for which I will bring some along!
