A set!!

The weekend was too short, but I think we all suffer of that syndrome. I spend Saturday driving after my husband who was high up in the sky, paragliding for about 2 hours 20 min, my neck is stiff from looking for him up there and trying to stay on the road...
Sunday was spent all a lone at home as the kids were wth friends and husband paragliding again, so guess what I did, yep making beads... and this is the set I completed and I worked on making a new silverglass murrini. So watch out maybe tomorrow I will have something new to show!

Hmm, I think I am chatting to myself...

This is turning out to be a real social week! Hardly made any beads, I am busy with a small set but haven't got time to finish it today!!

After getting a quote for skinny business cards I decided I'll print them myself, I think it is crazy to ask

R 2 , 00 per card, I managed to print 20 on a sheet which cost me R 0.70  which would be $0.10

On the reverse side I added all the details.

Chatting!!

I had a wonderful day yesterday giving a private class!

I chatted my head off, it probably is something I am in need of, I spend so many quiet hours with not a word spoken, and  ofcourse having another lampwork artist to chat with is adding fuel to the flame !

My husband said afterwards that he couln't believe what a chatterbox I am!!

Today I am not doing to much beadmaking as I am having time out with a friend, which means more chatting, and laughing!

Pink Roses!

I haven't made rose murrini in ages, I promised I would make some to show how to apply them to the bead in the up comming workshops and possibly to have some to sell :)

So here is a bead with the new rose murrini!

Gold, gold,gold.....

The pleats on the bead also have the gold luster on them, when you move the bead it shimmers and shines!!

Distorted Views!

You can look at this bead at different angles and it makes these nice distortions through the lense effect.

A little more Summer please!

Hot Summer days are nearing an end, the splendour of colour and heavenly scent! I soak in the beauty and breathe in the odour, for soon we are at Summers end and wonder where it all went!

Workshop USA

The first two days of the workshop are filled so we have added another 2 days on the 15th and 16th of March. Only 3 and a half weeks so don't delay come and join us :)

On the 14th we will have a day on the town, so come and join us for a day of fun :)
