A large set of "Orphans" !

It is not my strong point to make mixed sets, but this

I quite like and they are all little "Orphans"

even the focal ;)

A couple of Fun beads!

Underwater Garden

I bought Ron Bearer's Tutorial on Implosion flowers, I thought I'll start with something easier, just a little implosion sea anemone. I have totally submerged it flush with the surface of the bead.

The flowers will take a bit more practise:)

There is just someting about pinks purples and greens

If I look at the shimmering wings of some birds and    

the wings of butterflies, the shells of beetles

and the peacock feather, We are all drawn to these

amazing colors!

 I thank the glass makers that they have been able to

 produce some awesome glass that can almost replicate

 some of the lovely colors and metallic shine!



I have another bead with super sized murrinis,

I am seeing how big I can go ;)

I am at the moment a bit limited by my glass

cutter, perhaps I need to look for a tile cutter

ha,ha...

The new banner was inspired by this bead!

Fun with purple!

I think I would be lost without silverglass, and

I don't think I am alone.....right?

I would go into withrawl if I had to go without,

perhaps I should try to go without for a week.....

no way! :)

 It is really the pearly shimmer I love so much!

After the rain...

Everything is fresh and green, my eyes are overwelmed with the brightness of the blue sky and where the sky meets the earth the green of the fields blend in harmony!

Purple Sky

I think it must be purple week, I have discovered Kalypso, and at first I only got a caramel colour out of it but now I know what to do to make it sing! You need to work this glass extremely hot, cool fast alow the glass to turn a deep red then put it at the back of a very hot flame to strike abit more, next turn the flame down a bit but keep the oxygen up, reduce in the middle part of the flame, don't over reduce ! and encase.

Green is not an easy colour to sell, but I love green, I love it when the grass the trees and just all of nature is green!!!

Colour is so much part of my everyday, you would think it is easy, it is something which is all around us everyday, in all the possible combinations, yet it is quite an art to take the pallete before me and decide which shades to use, to create a rich and interesting mood something which creates an exitement in my soul, most of the time it is just in the small details of the "painting"that I find such pleasure.
